Creator of Yoga Intelligence Concept
Professor Nikić is the creator of the scientific concept of Yoga Intelligence—an innovative framework that defines a specific capacity for recognizing, perceiving, and managing one’s inner potential through yogic principles. His pioneering postdoctoral research has explored this concept in collaboration with leading Indian institutions:
-
University Patanjali, Haridwar (with Dr. Shirley Telles) – Studying the correlation between the level of Yoga Intelligence and the duration of yoga practice.
-
SVYASA University, Bangalore – Investigating the relationship between Yoga Intelligence and quality of life.
These studies underline the profound impact of yoga practice not just on physical well-being, but also on cognitive-emotional development and life satisfaction.
Padma Shri Award
Professor Nikić’s global influence was formally recognized in 2016 when he was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honors, for his outstanding international contributions in the field of yoga. The award was personally presented by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
The European House of Yoga Light
The European House of Yoga Light is the fulfillment of the vision of Professor Predrag Nikić to create a place where all people seeking truth and knowledge could meet. The realization of this idea has enabled the ancient teachings of the Rishis – the yogic sages, to be transmitted in a traditional way, adapted to meet the needs of modern life.
